Princess Peace Essien Igodifo was born in Lagos State Nigeria to a Royal Family of Late Chief C. D. Essien & Late Mrs Rebecca Essien of Anyam Nsit born of Akwa born State.
Princess Peace is a professional registered UK Nurse, mother, and philanthropist based in the United Kingdom. Her dedication to saving lives combined with the desire to further explore her interest in media – entertainment, film and broadcasting inspired her to venture into this fast growing industry.
A Registered nurse by profession with specialization in paediatrics with a mindset of diversification prompting her involvement in the entertainment industry. A prelude of this is Peace’s international experiences in Global nursing and social interactions with multi-racial groups which presently forma a bedrock of her working experience with the entertainment industry. And having innovative flare and Charismatic attributes, Peace pushed to see the transformation in the entertainment industry, prior to this, her contributions and works with the Global Pen Pal Club of Nigeria as a Model and her social activities in the school of nursing LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital) testifies to her abilities.
In 2010, Princess Peace was honoured with a well deserved award as the best Female Achiever in showbiz and Entertainment in Great Britain by the organizers of Top celebrity Award of Nigeria. And in 2011, Peace was appointed a ZAFAA financial Director and she successfully Organized a tremendous award night which was quite explicit, a night full of glamour with lots of distinguished guests of honour in attendance from all around the globe.
Then in 2012. Peace received a (CAMA) Classic Africa Merit Award as UK showbiz promoter of the year. In 2013, Peace was honored with a Honorary Special Children’s Day Award as the Teens Favorite UK Promoter 2013. Additityally, in 2013. She was appointed, recognized and honored as the Matron of Ibom transformation group in Nigeria in Akwa lbom state. Furthermore, in May 2014, Peace was inducted and now proudly addressed with the title AKPARAWA AWAN PEACE EMEM ESSIEN IGODFO of the MMI GROUP of Nigeria. In 2015; Princess Peace was appointed and conferred by Lord Victor and lady Vanessa Oluwole of Chad Ghleann, Dunans Castle Scotland founders as IWOP Ambassador (International Women of Power) now with a new title Ambassador Peace Essien Igodifo.
Peace is the Founder of Face of Peace Africa beauty pageant show UK which was built on the platform of using pageantry to preach peace in the countries of Africa and aimed to encourage gender equality in Africa and Provide an environment for cultural transfer and integration. In 2018, Princess was honoured with a leader-ship award by BEFFTA. She was also appointed as Matron of Hospital and Prison Action Network in London (HPAN).
Peace is always striving for the best relentlessly. as she Is now into encouraging others to be their brothers’ keepers by contributing to the poor and needy through donating and giving passionate support to charitable organisations.
In the history of Great Britain the first Black British Akwa ibom born African woman Councillor emerged in Manor park. Akwa Ibom State born princess, Princess Peace Essien on Thursday the 5th day of May, 2022 which coincided with her 50th birthday was elected the Councillor of Manor Park Rushmoor Borough Council. (Cllr) Princess Peace Essien who contested under the Conservative party came out tops after the vote counts in a keenly contested election against candidates of the Labour and Cooperative Party and the Liberal Democrats.
Speaking with Solitaire Media the elated but calm Nigerian born elected Councillor said “God has given me the best birthday gift ever and I am ready to serve as the first Akwa ibom Black British African woman Councillor in manor park, Rushmoor Council in Great Britain”
